Buying your own riding gear?
I was wondering,I have to buy all my own riding gear for me leasing a horse, this includes breeches, chaps, boots, etc, etc, I already have a helmet. I also need some grooming stuff as well, I have saddle pads, I just need your basic stuff that you need for a horse. I’m leasing a horse, so all tack is provided. So question is, where do you get your riding stuff at good prices? I’ve checked my local tack store, no luck, everything is out of my price range.

Well, when i decided it was time to invest in riding gear and equipment i asked people to get it for me for my birthday and christmas. I actually got half chaps for my birthday and brushes for christmas. I just emailed a wish list from www.doversaddlery.com to my family. If your birthday isn’t coming up soon you can order online, there are some websites that sell last seasons breeches and what not really cheap. Also find out if any tack stores around that are going out of business. I found one that was 45 minuts away from my house and even though it was out of my way i got boots for 60 % off!!! so don’t give up, im sure everything will work out for you
