Where To Buy Horse Manure

Where and what kind of dirt can I buy for my garden?

I wanted a garden so I vegetablel tilled the land in my backyard to I can plant vegetables. But I noticed that even though I had removed a large area of dirt until it has still not look like it would increase the vegetables down. So I went and got some dirt from my old friends that she had used for his vegetable garden, she had used horse manure in his. I put all the signs around the area as if it were a raised bed, but dirt is barely the bottom of the board. I need more dirt to fill it all the way to the top of the board (as if it be raised one) But I do not know where to get dirt. Is it just dirt right? What is compost and fertilizer, are they the same thing- Could I use both? My garden needs about 4 feet of dirt. Is this the same as the compost dirt? I can not do anything my only option is to buy what I need, I do not know what I need. I want a dark brown dirt like they sell Miracle Grow bags, but I need larger quantities of it, where can I get?

Contact your local towns and see if any of them have a composting facility. this is usually the least expensive for a lot. They usually have a supply of dirt noire good, too. your best bet is to use both topsoil and compost. them up together and you have a good start for a garden.
