Horse Show On Sunday… NERVOUS! Help?
Hi!
so on Sunday (December 13th) I have a horse show.
It’s a fun show but it’s still formal.
We have to wear the show coats and shirts and tall boots and what not.
This is my first real show on the horse that I’m going to buy. (we are currently leasing him but we are going to buy him sometime soon after the show) Anyways, I went to my first hunter pace with him and he was great!
But, I’m very, very nervous for some reason.
I have these stupid worries that my horse will freak out or get out of hand or something.
The classes I want to do are
Jr. W/T cross-rail
Jr. W/T/C vertical
4 Fence 18 inch course
This will be my first show where I’m jumping.
Can you help me so I know what to do when I get nervous?

When you get nervous, just relax! Smile and have a good time. Whats that worst that could happen, getting in a bad place? That isnt so bad. Have fun and a good time. My friend was sooo nervous for her first show, but she just forgot about the ribbons and placings, had an awesome time, and guess what? She got in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! You will have a good time
