how do you know what size western saddle you need?
my grandma has a 18″ but its waaaaayyyyy to big. how do i find out what size i need?
Measure your femur (knee to hip) in inches, and that should be an approximate estimate of the size you need. The average person is a 15″ or 16″.
It would be best to go to the tack shop and sit in it first though, and test ride it.
Make sure it fits your horse, too!
