can vitamin or mineral supplements affect the colour of vaginal discharge?!?
OK, I remember reading somewhere that a vitamin (possibly B) can cause changes to vaginal discharge, and make it an odd colour. Has anyone else ever heard of this, or are there any vitamin or mineral supplements that could cause this?
I know that supplements can cause changes to the colour of urine, but what about discharge…?
No. Vitamin causes discolour of urine and not vaginal discharge. Vitamin B, as with most vitamins are excreted through the kidneys, therefore coming out in the urine making the urine a brighter yellow or green. Normal vaginal discharge should be white or clear in colour with the consistancy of it changing through the cycle. If your vaginal discharge changes colour to yellow or green and then has an odour then the chances are you have a vaginal infection.
