Do you think this book is worth buying?
some of you may have seen my books about starting a rescue/re-training barn for racehorses, and neglected/abused TBs….I was wondering if anyone has read this book and think it’s worth it?
The reviews says it’s good but I wanted to know if anyone else thinks it’s a good book. I was thinking it might help me.

I bought Beyond the Track when I adopted my OTTB and it’s great! Other books talk about general training of all horses, but this one specifically deals with ex-racehorses and their specific needs after leaving the track. It is written by the owner of a thoroughbred rescue who has spent years rescuing these horses and giving them the basic training they need to begin their new career in a new home. I would definitely recommend buying it.
I can’t comment on the second book because I’ve never heard of it before, but it seems like something you should read if you’re interested in opening up your own barn.
