How can you train your horse for reining?
i have a month and a half foal that i want to teach reining when she is old anough and i like to no the techniques to teaching reining
Reining Classes or just how to neck rein? Reining Classes have videos but basically its practice. A horse will naturally plow rein. Wait until at least 2 then when your on her back LOL (That’s harder than reining) slowly lay the opposite rein on her neck in the direction you want to turn. You want to teach her to move away from the pressure. Be soft then increase pressure, then if she isn’t getting the connection, pull the other rein on the other side to show her what you want her to do. This is all a little to soon for her though.
