What do you think about this horse?/What should I start doing with her?
I’m buy this Palomino/Quarter Horse who is 2 years old, she is halter broke and her front feet can be picked up. I’ve groomed her many times before and slung my jacket across her back-(just because I needed a place to put it lol)- and she didn’t even spook one bit. She was laying down when I came into her pen and she let me brush her while laying down and then I layed down next to her with my head on her neck and she fell asleep! Do you think we are a good match?…What things should I start training her?(groundwork) and what do you think about her?
These were taken with my phone so they suck:

I ride western, I’m 5″2′, about 100lbs…I would like to eventually barrel race on her. I think she is 14.5 – 15 HH if I remember correctly. and How would you train her to pick her back feet up? -Just curious-
Ummm…I would start by teaching her to pick up her back feet. You do it same as the front, assuming you knwo how to pick both front and back feet on an already trained horse. It may take awhile and you just start by holding it up for a few seconds then put it down…eventually working up to actually picking them and holding them longer and longer. Just be careful to not get kicked. Then work on lunging, leading, tieing, trailering, putting on a surcingle, or putting on a saddle pad to name a few things you could do as ground work.
Good Luck, and dont work her for to long at any one time, younf horses dont have a whole bunch of patiece. Just work a few minutes on a few things, then come back a few hour later and do the same thing for a few minutes. Horses learn by repatition, so doing a few short lessons every day (2 or 3) will allow her to learn, but NOT to become frustrated and sour.
Have Fun
