Can I get a scholarship in riding horses?
I have been wondering if I ride horses through high school, can I get a scholarship to college? I have been intending to go to Texas A&M. I am going to become a freshman this year and I want to be with horses. I havent shown in riding shows yet. Is there a way I could get a scholarship?
If the college has a riding team, you can get ‘recruited’ the same way any athlete would–but that would mean you would have to be really, really good, and if you have never shown, then I have a feeling you’re not really experienced.
