What supplies do i need for a horse and to do barrel racing?
i think i know most of it, i just want to make sure i am not missing a few things because i am looking to lease a horse and i need to buy my own tack and supplies. i already have lead rope, feed bucket, hoof pick, soft brush, and a harder brush that i don’t know the name of. what else would i need?
you have got some pretty good answers hear- supplie wise, along with lots of the brushes listed- i would also get a sweat scraper they help a lot, and also if you went and got a towel too- helps rub down the horse if needed, also make sure you get nice tack that will hold up good- (breast collar- bridle- tie down- saddle- etc.) i have been barrel racing so many times and i have rode and during the run my reigns have broke one time my brest collar broke around a turn and my saddle slipped to the side, be sure to always tighten your cinch before a barrel run too, good luck im sure you will love it!!!;-)
