Does anyone have any experience with an East Wind small acerage tractor?
We are considering purchasing a 35hp model, but as these are Chinese built tractors are a little sceptical to how good they are.
They have a two year warranty, and have been through what sounds like extensive research and development by the distributors in Australia.
The sales pitch is very convincing, the DVD demonstrates the tractor and implements as very capable, and the tractors themselves look the part and appear strong enough, but I’d like to hear from REAL experiences.
If anyone can give me some examples of their own experiences with this brand of tractor, good or bad, I would appreciate it.
We have 36 acres of land in Australia to selectively clear and maintain, and have a few other jobs like dam maintenance and fencing to do.
Not really heavy stuff if the tractor is capable of living up to the promises.
Thanks in advance.
In the US we have had some Asian tractors make a big splash, then fail, leaving owners with no network for parts. That would be my only concern. Everything mechanical wears out eventually, but if you can get parts to repair them, you can keep them going forever.
