A question about leasing horses? (20 stinking characters..)?
Ok, so my dad an I are looking at horses for sale and lease.
Hopefully that we can move to a barn closer to where I am (what kind of lease is that called? lolz)
But the two ponies I’m looking at are;
14.2 North American Sport Pony (this says “with enough substance to give an adult a big ride) 11 years
14+ hand North American Sport Pony. 4 years (the pony above is his mamma. haha)
I’m more interesting in the 14.2 mare, but I’m about 5foot 6 and 13 years old. I’m not heavey or fat (in everybody’s opinion but mine.. 
) but would I be ok? We may do little shows, but mostly fooling around with some jumps and trail riding.

You’re looking for an off-site or off-farm lease.
14.2 is not too small for your height, although you may look a little off balance if you try to show English. For trail rides and riding at home, she’s plenty big enough.
Also keep in mind that you are still growing- if you pick too small of a horse, you may only be able to lease for a year or two before you out grow him or her and have to change horses.
