What grain do you recommend feeding a healthy senior horse?
I have him on Purina Equine Senior….he is a 15-17 year old Appaloosa gelding healthy and sound doing trail rides maybe a handful of times a month. I know not all horses need grain but he was real underweight when I bought him thats why I have been giving him the equine senior and he has put his weight on so now I am looking to switch him to a cheaper feed. Any Suggestions?
