How to retrain a High sprirted horse?
My horse hasn’t been out riding In quit some time now and he is the same with the saddling but he wont hold still when I am trying to mount him i can Even turn his head and he still moves secondly he looks like he is about to buck me off. also I always have to get his attention in the round pen when I work with him ( it is made out of cow panels) can it be because I have gained some weight and he isn’t use to it are what
Lunge him for a while first with the saddle on so he gets used to being ridden again. and when you mount him make him stand still for a while then walk him around the ring before trotting or cantering again
