Racehorse Feed

is strategy(by purina) a good feed for an x race horse? if not what is?

i am feeding my x racehorse strategy, and im not sure if that is the right feed for him
i am feeding my ex racehorse strategy, and im not sure if its right for him. we just got him and he is pretty skinny and is ridden like once a week.we want him to gain weight, but some people are telling us that staregy has to much protein. in the summer i will start training him for barrelracing, and he will be getting riden almost every day, will stategey still be right for him then?

I think that would be ok, but I would also put him on joint supplements also for his legs.
