RAW FEEDERS any deficiencies with mostly all beef diet?
I’ve calculated but just want to make sure…I feel like I missed something.
All the meaty meat (80%) is beef parts: heart, gullet, trachea, tripe, rump, etc.
The RMBs (10%) are pork, poultry, lamb, smelt, sardines, and rarely goat, rabbit or venison. Keep in mind only 10% so it’s not a lot.
5% is beef liver
5% are beef kidney, pancreas and spleen
Can any raw feeder out there please help me make sure there’s no deficiencies with this because it’s mainly beef?
I use to vary the meaty meat more but I can get whole steers from a farmer at a better price.

Smaller prey which is completely edible usually has a skeletal content of 25% – 30%
Figures are mean values for a certain number of checks in various products, they are to be used as an approximate guide and not as definitive values set in stone. It is important to understand animals are raised differently (pasture raised vs intensively raised) and this and the season the animal was slaughtered will have a bearing on the composition of fats etc.
Values for Protein, Fat and Carbs are grams per 100 grams (approx 3.5 ounces)
Values for calcium and Phosphorus are milligrams (mg) per 100 grams. All values are as fed, not dry matter.

Remember Organs such a Liver & Kidney need to feed in small amounts, no more than 5% of a weekly diet, whilst they are high in phosphorous thet are very useful for other nutreint such as iron, potassium, vitamins, and the B-complex group. Chicken liver is richest in vitamin C
