What accomplishments have you had with horses?
I don’t mean in 4-H or open shows. I mean breed shows, national associations like NRHA, NCHA, Olympics, etc. How much money have you earned in showing, or how much money has a horse you trained earned? What did you do ie, pleasure, trail, dressage, reining, etc.
This is just supposed to be a fun question. I am just interested in getting to know a little more about the people who ask/answer the questions.
I have shown from local shows up to international section II open jumper Grand Prix in the US, Canada and Germany. I’ve shown dressage from intro level (walk trot) to Grand Prix in Germany and to PSG in the US.
I have evented up to Preliminary level.
I used to show western and my horse and I qualified for AQHA world in western pleasure, showmanship, western equitation and trail, I also qualified in hunter under saddle.
I was 4th in the nation in 4-H horse judging one year and on the 1st place team nationally in horse bowl (it’s a knowledge competition), I was 11th individually.
*I thought I’d add, my jumper now retired is a rescue thoroughbred off the track who was headed to a sale and most likely to slaughter, I did all the training on him myself.*
