What Kind Of Boots Should I Use On My Horse?
Hey I was wondering what kind of boots I should use for my 14.2hh QH x Crabbet Arab mare.. I do PC and practically everything else but I’m just worried about Montana hitting herself on a jump and cutting/injuring herself ):
Btw, I had Roma splint boots and Roma rubber bell boots on her once and apparently she was Cob size but the bell boots rubbed her badly and the boots were too big. Will she be a Pony Size in all brands now?

i would definitely say to use splint boots to absorb shock, and as you said to prevent herself from getting hurt on a jump.
Since you said that she got rubs from her last set of boots, i would get the boots lined with fleece, which helps prevent that.
Also as far as size goes, I would definitely say that your horse is a pony… all sizes run differently, but since your mare is only 14.2, in most brands, she would wear pony boots.
