Question about Mecate rein set?
I’m a new rider and have started watching Clinton Anderson’s Riding with Confidence series. He has this really nice Mecate set but I don’t see them for sale on his web site. When Mecate reins are advertised does the extra lead automatically come with it? I’d like a nice soft rope style (reins and lead). Also, do you have to buy slobber straps and, what bit do you normally use? I want to purchase the Mecate set but have no clue how to shop for it or set it up.
Any help would be great…thanks!
The mecate set has one 22foot long rein. the mecate. It is divided roughly into thirds and what looks like the “extra rein” is the free end of the one rein.
The mecate set is on page 32 of the catalogue. The price is $175 and $201.
I couldn’t find it online, either.
