Parelli, John Lyons, Richard Shrake, or?
I offered some training videos on horseback, however, I do not buy all: All Parelli training videos 6 (six) training videos de Lyon Jean-2 (two), Richard Shrake training videos Which one should I get? I know Parelli techniques, but I have heard bad things about him. I know the techniques of John Lyons, but not very well .. and I never even heard of Richard Shrake. The opinions, experiences, advice? Thank you! I work on several different cases, all TWHs: Re-formation of a mare five years to build the west. She was previously a horse show and is very, very fickle, timid, and spookish. My goal is to make him a trail horse. Teach ways of eleven months old colt better floor leader, swimming, and cross-linking.
I have a couple of vids is Richard Shrake. I like it well enough. Easy going guy. I love watching her turn Penning demo. John Lyons is also very good. I like many of his techniques and use them. No complaints have not all. He did not defend the horse bite. I know he says "bite back" and then explains how to attack immediately after your horse, he bites you, etc. … You feel that your horse is almost dead and he was lucky to escape alive. (This is not done beating your horse or anything whether it be painful, but did a great job!) Many instructors have said this form of "back biting" and I think people stopped listening after that … and it took literally! I spend Parelli.
