How would you critique these horses’ confirmation?
I’m trying to perfect my confirmation critiquing so I would like to get your opinions to compare them to mine.
I have a few different types of horses.

I was looking at these horses for english riding purposes.
this was fun!
I have placed the last horse first. My reasoning is although she has not grown into her hind end yet, her over-all refinement and scopy-ness makes me feel she is the best performance prospect.
Second is the paint listed third on your list (I am surprised to find myself picking paints!) this horse’s only fault is its slightly straight pasterns.
Third I have placed the Appy. Perhaps this horse actually deserves to be placed higher, as the upright neck and straight shoulder which I find fault with are breed characteristics.
Fourth is the paint sport horse. This horse’s major fault is a slightly long back.
Fifth is the Irish Draught. I hope this filly will overcome the fact that her pasterns and her hooves are at two different angles, but personally, I would be hesitant to take a chance on her until proven.
Sixth is the TB/clydesdale cross. (I have some criticism for the rider, but I will leave that out!) this horse’s athleticism is almost making up for it’s short neck and closed shoulder, but it will never completely overcome these major faults.
Seventh is the pony quarter horse. This little horse will probably do well at small local and schooling shows, but its lack of refinement and thick throat latch will prevent it from catching the eye of most judges.
