I would like to work on a farm next summer….?
I live in CA, and I would like to experience life on a ranch/farm. Maybe somewhere in Montana, Wyoming or Idaho? I don’t want one of those working vacation gigs where it costs me $1,500 to experience a dude ranch, and that’s all I can find online. I want to work and get paid for it over the summer. I don’t have any experience, but that’s what this is all about.
look up “bar J wranglers.” It’s a good ranch, It’s sort of a tourist thing at night, but they put their cowboys to good work during the day.
