Where do you believe is the best place to own horses?
I mean city and state wise. When I mean the best place, I mean the most stable sale prices of feed, the most horse enthusiasts, cheapest (yet nice) land, etc. Just a great, cheap place to own horses where other people do, too.
Right now I’m leaning towards the Bristow, OK area. I looked up properties, and you can buy 9 acres with a nice house (like 4 beds, 3 baths and not out-dated country looking) that’s perfect for owning horses for $125,000! I’m not sure about how much hay is, but the grass is great and you could definitely not feed hay during the summer! The horse market is good and there are a good amount of horse properties around which means horse enthusiasts!

I live in the central area so I’m not sure what it’s like for southern or northern or east or west (blah blah blah…lol)
Here the cheapest board i found was $550 a month and they have “OK” facilities…my place is a bit better and I pay $600 a month…
not to mention, a rowhome would probably cost $200,000…
I hate it here!
