Breast reduction cost from a size 34/36 DD to a 34/36 B?
I am 18 years old, 5 feet tall, and I have been talking about getting a breast reduction since I was about 14, when I was a 32 DD. My boobs have always been a huge problem, putting me in physical therapy for four years, I haven’t been able to continue my passions for Cheerleading and Horseback Riding, and I have been limited in all of my activities due to the pain my back, neck, and shoulders are always in.
I have finally gotten a consultation, and my doctor is trying to find me a surgeon that will work with my insurance company to cover the cost of the procedure. How much would a reduction of that nature cost? I know that going from a DD to a B is a large procedure, and that it would cost more than a normal one. Any ideas on costs?
The average breast reduction cost varies from $5,000 to $7,000. Fees include anesthesia, which ranges from $1,000 to $1,500, and the facility fee (or hospital fee), which ranges from $500 to $2,000. The remaining cost will be the surgeon’s fee. If more than one procedure is done at the same time, then the total cost will be more, but less than if the procedures are performed separately.
I completely disagree with the person who was saying “DON’T DO IT!” >.< It's your body and it sounds like your breasts are causing you a LOT of problems.. I have friends who are big in the chest region and they absolutely hate it. Check this website out
