Hey anyone have any easy to make horse treat recipes?
I will not have a microwave or an oven to make them with. So really simple is what I am looking for.
OOOOO!!! i made these amazing treats once and all the horses loved them… all it is is bran soaked in warm water and drained a bit. then you can add molases or maple syrup and mix in chereios or some other horse-safe cereal. you can also put apples and carrots on top, or add in whatever you want that your horse likes! you dont have to microwave them or anything, you can just give it to them either after they have been in the sun for a while, or you just right away. it doesnt really matter. it can also be a fun activity for kids. they can make shapes, such as a horseshoe or a boot, etc., and have fun just messing around in the bran and other ingredients. it would be a good activity for a summer camp. you just make them on paper plates and give them to the horse. it is a fun easy way to make treats that the horses will devour. =] i hope you make these! it would totally be worth it.
