What tricks are safe to teach a very bored horse recovering from a tendon injury?
It’s a minor injury to the SDF tendon but she has to be eased back into work gradually anyway(she’s up to about 20 mins walk+5 trot). She was learning to bow really well but I’m afraid that would strain the tendon again. So we’ve been doing kiss and smile, but what could I do that is more challenging?
Simple convenience tricks are great! Like pointing at a foot and she’ll pick it up (great for picking feet), or stretching for treats to stretch out her muscles.
