*sigh* Horse owners and horse wanters alike?
Do you or did you ever feel left out aout not having a horse? I know I do. Like, all the magazines and stuff are like, “Caring For your horse or pony– Are you succeeding?” and crap like that and I get sad because I don’t have one, LOL!! and last night, my mom and I went to Tractor Supply Co. and we just walked around the horse stuff. I even asked her t buy me a curry comb to carry around to make me feel special. (Yes, I know, I’m pathetic, but I love horses and I WANT A LEASE SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!) Did/do you ever feel like this????? LOL!
Yeah, I’m 12 but I’ll be 13 in….14 days. And I’m already a straight-A student, so that partcular deal probably won’t work for me :l
And does anybody know, if I would be able to get a job where I’d be paid at a stable when i’m 13???

I know what you mean. How they advertise stuff to usually horse owners only…but in a way, thats a good thing. It makes you work harder towards your goal of owning or leasing!
I used to feel that way. I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL!!!!! 
You know I thought I would never ever own or lease a horse. I have been riding for around 5 years taking lessons once a week. Everyday over the summer, I would go to the barn for at least 4 hours. When I wasnt at the barn, I would be reading horse health or breed books or something on that line. I learned so much about horses and worked my butt off for 5 years doing horse related activities. I also saved my money for the longest time. There are a few reasons why people dont get horses.
1) Too expensive
2) Too much time
3) Not responsible enough
Many parents think the cost is way too much…which it is expensive. It takes sooo much time! I guess people who dont want horses enough, dont prove to their parents that they are responsible. My guess is that its too expensive. JUST SAVE! I thought I would never get a horse. No JOKE! I thought that I was probably the only person that wouldnt get one. All of my friends were getting them, except for me….Then one day after searching a million barns, someone gave us a really good deal for leasing. Ever since then, I have been a happy camper.
My one recomendation is to never give up. I gave up maybe 10 times over the 5 years I wanted a horse. But then I always relized that if I gave up, it would never happen. IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU!
