What is a good “horsey” gift?
What do you think would be a good “horsey” gift to a 20 year old female horseback-rider. She is a serious horse show competitor and has all the necessary horse gear and equipment. I was just wanting an idea for a cute gift.
Some random ideas
- A photo board of her and her horse
- her horses name on a plaque for his stable
- A saddle blanket/cotton show rug with her horses name embroidered in
- A basket of treats for her horse
- A bucket filled with a sponge, shampoo, conditioner and other “washing orientated” stuff
- Books/DVDs about improving your riding
- Tickets to a horsey event thats coming up in your area
- A bridle and matching saddle blanket in ehr favourit colour for hacking out at home
- Homeware with horses on it, eg. mugs, glasses, blankets
- An arty friend of mine painted a picture of my horse for me
- A professional photo shoot for a pic of her horse
- A DVD or book about anoterh style of riding that she has said she would like to try. Eg if she’s an eventor maybe a book about dressage or endurance
- Pictures of horses are always nice.
- Novels about horses (eg Flicka)
For my 21st i got given a series of horse statues in the same style in diferent poses. i still have them 10 years on and I love them!
- you can also get a picture of her and her horse and turn it into anything you wnat. My Mum put a picture of me and my horse on a mug for me for a Xmas present once. these days you can put them on calendars, mousepads, etc
- what about jewellery with an equestrian feel?
