i dont know how to frence and theres to much hair to put it in a bun
The safest thing to do with long hair is to get it all up under your helmet. Pony tails, braids, and loose hair are all dangerous.
I recently had a friend’s child riding my 30 year old arab mare. She had long, loose hair. When she fell, the horse’s foot came down on her hair, a few inches from her face. She could not move! She was under the horse, pinned by her hair. Thank heavens the mare was only interested in eating, so we were able to free her without incident, but many horses would have been all over her. She could have been badly injured, even killed.
I’m pretty casual about my own very long hair. I just gather it all in a pony tail at the nape of my neck (no band), give it a few quick twists to hold it, and flip it over the top of my head. I bend over forwards so it’s hanging down, fold the extra length back over mmy skull, then put mmy helmet over the whole thing. It’s all hidden away, and stays put while I’m riding without much trouble. If I’m showing, I use a hair net over the same do to keep the wisps in better and look more finished.
For leg position, just keep thinking about it and correcting it every time you think about it. Your muscles will develop and your leg will become more flexible until you don’t have to think about it anymore. It’s just a question of developing flexibility and strength to hold it where you want it; no quick fixes.
Good Luck with your riding!
