How can I get rid of a Trojan that disabled all of my anti-virus security programs?
I somehow downloaded or allowed a trojan horse to get on my laptop and now every 20 seconds or so I get an alert message near the clock on my computer telling me that I have 38 viruses that needs to be removed or that windows has detected spyware. So I go to run my anti-virus program, and it says that it has been disabled due to a virus. How can I get rid of this trojan ASAP!!!!!

When starting to boot up get into Safe Mode With Networking by hitting the F8 key (or another if your maker changes that), and then after updating your anti-virus run it, or get a good anti-virus program like at
http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
or
http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus
Alternatively go to
housecall.trendmicro.com and do a free online scan that will kill just about any threat out there.
Getting Malwarebytes program is also a good idea.
