Does anyone know the approximate blanket size for a horse, based on breed and/or size?
I know how to determine the correct blanket size for a horse (measure from center of chest to tail), but would like to know if there are approximate sizes based on the breed and/or size? Halters and bits typically have this “standard size chart” so would like to know if there is one for horse blankets (winter/stall blanket types)? Thanks!
since body size differs so much more than the size of a bit and a halter, no there really isn’t a standard or approx size of blankie for horses based on breed etc. this is why we measure to make sure it fits well. esp since different companies size things different. and since there is so much cross breeding now days there is not much of a breed standard for size any more. hope this helps
