What do you think of Tifton 85?
I just found a supplier in my area that sells it. Due to poor barn management there is no grass for my horses to graze on. I feed O&A and T&A currently, and would like to get it just so my boys have something to munch on throughout the day. I’d still keep them on their current hay, and offer them free choice tifton 85. What is your opinion on this hay? One of my geldings colics off of coastal, so I can’t have thin stemmed hay. I heard that this hay was thicker. What is your opinion?
I’ve read up on what I could find, but I want more opinions on it related to horses, not cattle.
