Where would I find timothy hay cubes in bulk?
I have two house rabbits (and a horse). I would like to buy timothy hay cubes (mostly for the rabbits, but could be used for the horse also) in bulk, like a 50 pound bag or something. I have looked on several sites, but I can’t find anything that works for me. I know that some people at my horse barn get Standlee hay cubes for their horses, but I have looked at the local farm and ranch stores and they don’t carry it. What are some good websites that have rabbit-safe timothy hay cubes?
I do use timothy hay for my older rabbit and alfalfa for my younger one (they are housed together so it’s hard to keep them from eating the other’s hay. But anyways, I was just looking for a cleaner alternative than loose hay. Plus I am allergic to all hays and grasses, so it would be a little easier for me also.
You will have to find a mill in your local that makes these cubes so you can buy in bulk in the capacity for the horse.
