*updated* 20 gallon fishtank perfectly set-up?
Size: 20 Gallon Rectangle Tank
Fish: 4 ryukin goldfish and 11 common goldfish
Food used: Tropical fish flakes(crunched up for the little ones) and if they are big enough i feed them goldfish floating pellets.
Equipment: 20g filter, 20g heater, 20g air pump, 10 gallons of gravel, Hood w/ lights.
Items used everytime there is a water change: Tap water conditioner for ponds. 4table spoons of API aquarium salt.
I clean my fish tank 100% a week and i remove every algae with a towel.
Is this ok for my fish tank everything that have? Am i already set?
Waaaaay too many fish for that tank. Your gonna need a very large tank they will grow to a foot or more in length. You need at least a 55 for just 3 or 4 fish, and a 75 or 90 gallon would be even better. Also, you shouldn’t break your entire tank down to clean. Your tank will never cycle, and will eventually have an ammonia spike and kill everything.
