How many of you use COPRA in your Horses feed and whats your experience and opinion about COPRA?
Since there was no answer to my previous question regarding copra, I thought of changing the question. I want to see how many people uses copra and what’s your personal experience and opinion about it, whether it has done any improvements in the horse in any area, has it been any good with reducing the horse feed bill, Is it actually good for the horses coat and so on.
So feel free to voice your opinions and also state your experience with the regard to the product.

I use copra and have for every horse i’ve ever owned. It is excellent in keeping the weight on and it works wonders for their coat (makes them so shiney) plus they absolutley LOVE it too! It is a fair bit cheaper than most horse feeds which is also a bonus.
Just make sure that if you do feed it, you soak it it water first (3 cups of water to 1 cup of copra) as this prevents it from swelling in your horse’s stomach and causing colic.
EDIT: I’d buy it for it’s smell! haha. It’s from coconut and smells sooooo good!
