Should I propose to her during Christmas?
Hey guys!
I have been dating this wonderful girl for several years. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted.
Her mother has an equestrian property that she’s in the process of putting another small ranch house down for her daughter (my girlfriend) and I to rent out from her. My girlfriend opened up a private boarding stable and we both have a very good income. I’m 20 years old, and she is 19 years old. We’ve talked about getting married several times..and decided if we did get engaged that we wouldn’t have to jump the gun and get married right away.
Do you think Christmas is good time to do this?
And if so (or even not) – What is a creative fun way to do it?

Sounds like a wonderful idea! I’ve always loved opening packages within a package within a package etc. So how about having 4 or 5 boxes, each wrapped very different. Maybe one could be very elegantly wrapped and inside it could be one a little smaller but maybe wrapped in the Sunday comics, and one could be Valentine paper instead of Christmas paper. Then the engagement ring box could be wrapped in brown paper sack paper with crayon hearts that you’ve drawn on it. Personally I think it would be very cute and romantic. You’d be dropping some hints with Valentine paper and one you drew hearts on. When she gets to the final box, as she opens it, the show is on….time to propose. This could all be done in private or in front of everyone, that I’ll leave to you!
PS: Most guys are terrible at wrapping gifts, so ask a sister, your mom, even her mom to help with the wrapping. It will add to the fun since they will know what is being opened and can enjoy her frustration and surprise with each new package. Good luck and have a wonderful Christmas engagement!
