he is the most adorable thing i have ever seen!
I’m trying to ring the owners to ask if they can deliver him…
do donkeys need to be shod?
Can i ride him when i train him?what are they rode best in (western or enlgish)?how old does he look (doesnt say on the ad)? is it OK to turn him out with my mare straight away?

They are pretty much the same as horses when it comes to care. Some types of donkeys can grow up to 14hh so you’ll need to find out the breed.
As for shoes, they are the same as horses. Some have good feet, some have crappy feet. Your best off getting the farrier to have a look.
As for breaking, you may want to ask around at a riding school for someone to do that for you.
Donkeys can also get lungworm which is a disease horses don’t tend to get so you’d have to read up on that.
He should be fine to turn out with your mare straight away athough you should probably get him gelded first. (Unless you are planning to use him as stud but be aware that a horse pregnancy lasts 11 months so if you got her infoal straight away she would be foaling late august/early sept next year and the poor little foal would have to suffer the winter whilst very young and vulnerable).
