Is it necessary for a dog to get Vaccinations?
is vaccinations necessary? my dog is 2 years old and he has never gotten a vaccination, but he never gets sicks, and it is not that we dont want to give vaccinations to our dog its just that we keep forgetting , and also we sometimes don’t have the money, but we always have money to feed our dog. He is treated like family.
At 2 years of age, your dog will have picked up natural immunity. I haven’t vaccinated in about 18 years, and my dogs have never been ill. We don’t go to the vet for any illnesses whatsoever. Out of interest, we had one of our dogs titre tested, and he came back with protection for four of the major diseases……this is a dog that had never, ever been vaccinated. I honestly believe that the benefits of not vaccinating outweigh the risks of vaccinating.
