My family and I recently adopted an Australian Cattle Dog puppy (6 months old) from a local rescue shelter called The Lucky Puppy. This particular dog, Dexter, was rescued with his brother from a puppy mill in Indiana. Dexter has some trust issues with people. Once he gets to know them, he is their best, loyal buddy, but before he is very scared and suspitious. I love him so much. I don’t know much about puppy mills, other than a basic definition. I saw terrible pictures online that made me want to cry. I think they are awful. What do you think? Have you ever had an experience with one? What can be done to stop them?
