Should I take some classes to start a farm business?
I want to start a farm (in the future). I’m 20 years old. I have been involved with horses since I was 8 years old (12 years experience riding/colt starting/training). I either want to start a horse farm (boarding/selling/breeding/lessons) or a dairy farm (my grandpa had a dairy farm of about 30 head of cattle but now they’re all gone and replaced with my 5 horses, 8 barn cats, 10 hens, and a rooster. He use to have a nice little successful business but then he got older and my grandma passed away so he couldn’t do it anymore. (kinda irrelevant but it gives me some passion to start the business up again.
Any way, I want to start a farm of some sort. I’m not 100% sure of what I want it to be yet whether it be equine, bovine, or poultry.
I attend the local community college. I’m just taking basic classes that are needed for any degree (math, english, etc)
Should I be taking any specific classes like in business?
