Does this sound like it would be a good story for a book?
I grew up in a small town of cows and corn. I had an alcoholic drug dealing father, a suicidal angry brother always looking for a fight, a mother with a heart condition and a grandmother who had a picture of the witch doctor next to Jesus on her counter. Overall though I had a happy childhood. Good plot/premise?
I would capitalize on happy times and show optimism amidst all the tragedy.
I think that could be an interesting plot, it sounds a bit intriguing
