I need a move up from my tb cross. I need a horse that can show over 3 foot in the jumpers..im 14, 5′ 6″ with soft hands and seat…what do you think?
I can handle any crap a horse pulls, and i have a trainer that would ride him once a week and i would lesson 2 times. The girl that owns him now is only 16
No. This is not a children’s jumper horse.
This is a horse for a professional. Even the ad states that.
Plus, this horse is still green and has only just started jumping 3′6 under saddle. A “moving up horse” should be an experienced horse not a horse that is as new to whatever you’re moving up to as you are.
He is cute but definitely not a kid’s horse.
There are many other horses out there that would suit you and show you around the jumper ring instead of being lost and green with it! Just keep looking! Best of luck
EDIT: Well, I still don’t like him. He looks really clunky to me as well. I don’t know why you would voluntarily put up with his crap if you didn’t have to. There are a lot of other horses out there that could be more beneficial to you and that you could learn from rather than the other way around (you and your trainer teaching him). I mean, if you really feel that you can do this and your trainer and parents are 100% backing you up and you just have that feeling that this IS your horse then go for it but just know that it is not going to be easy.
