Cheap/home made interactive dog toys/games for Xmas… advice/opinions?
I’d love to get my dog something like this for Christmas:

(Yes, I know he has no concept of Christmas, but I still want to. Babies don’t understand Christmas but you still get them presents).
However, the cheapest is around £15 (no idea what that is in dollars, sorry). The cheapest I can find on eBay is around £13. I just cannot stretch to that right now. But I do want to test his problem-solving abilities in a fun way for him.
Is there anything I can make for him at home?
Buy a cupcake/muffin pan, add a treat in each of the muffin form & put tennis balls over it so that the treats are covered. Then watch your dog figure out on how to get those treats. Watch this video of a dog playing this mind game:
Or try this. Get a few big PVC tubes & join them all together to make one weird shape & put a tennis ball in it & watch your dog trying to get it out.
