those that feed raw a five questions ?
what have you found the cheapest cuts of meat for your dog ?,
what cut of meat does your dog enjoy the most ?
have you ever feed your dog any heads of any animal ?
does your dog eat rabbit freshly caught , and do they eat the head 1st like my tribe ?
do you try to feed your dog human grade food , or just pet grade ?
what are your thoughts on feeding pork , chicken, lamb and beef over game meat like rabbit ,deer and ducks
I don’t feed raw exclusively, but I do enough to answer these questions.
Cheapest cuts – Really anything I can get my hands on from a wholesale butcher. Chicken quarters are pretty cheap.
Cuts my dogs enjoy the most – Haha they aren’t fussy. When I gave them ox tongue for the first time they thought it was Gods’ gift from Heaven!
Have I fed an animal head – Yes, I frequently feed them pig heads. I get them for $3 a head and have the butcher to cut them in half (while frozen of course). One half of a pigs’ head is a substantial meal for my dogs.
Do my dogs eat rabbit freshly caught – No, I live in suburbia, no rabbits here. I can only get human grade dressed rabbit and that’s tooooo expensive.
Pet or human grade – Mostly human grade
Thoughts on feeding pork, chicken and lamb over rabbit, deer and ducks – I only feed my dogs chicken, pork and lamb as game meats are hard to find here and are very expensive. I’d love to contact hunters who shoot kangaroo though so I could get what they don’t want off the carcass.
