What kinds of treats do you give your horse?
I give her normal horse treats (as in ones you buy), carrots, apples, tried turnips (she didn’t like them but my friend’s horse LOVED them lol), and random snacks and candies (pretzels, cereal, gummies, smarties, whatever sugary things I happen to have available). How about you?
Oh, I’m not asking for ideas, I’m just taking a little poll to see what interesting things people feed their horsies.
One of my horses before I sold him would eat anything. My friend and I would ride into town to get breakfast and one morning he stole my entire blueberry muffin. He also ate granola bars (any brand and any kind), chips, cookies, the normal treats like apples, carrots, and store bought kind made for horses.
Another of my horses likes lemonade (from the can, don’t remember the brand) plus all of the other treats my other horse ate.
My last two horses are very picky though and prefer… nothing… even though they try to steal anything I am eating until they realize its not what they wanted. Occasionally they will accept an apple or carrot, but the only treats they always accept are the store bought kind.
