Would you pay extra for home delivered dairy products, from a horse drawn cart?
We own two Draft (Clydsedale) horses, and I was thinking of starting a home delievery milk (dairy) service. I would use Glass bottles, etc. wear the white suit, have my dog ride along etc. I wonder if people would pay a premium for this home delievered (daily service). It would seem, in this day of high gas prices, it could?? work, opinions welcome, both pro and con, as I am trying to get my wife to go into this with me…(as in help buy the milk cart)!!
Depending on how much more, I would totally do it. I run out of milk ALL the time. If it were one more thing I didn’t have to think about, that would be great. You can supply insulated ‘milk boxes’ to your customers to keep the milk cool before bringing it inside. How very fun this would be.
