Buy Horse Manure Compost

Ok i want to talk about horse poop?

I know its great for the soil once its done its composting thing but is it ok to use it the same way you would with multi purpose compost and start your seeds off with it? this manure is nearly 2 year old and very black and fine just like shop bought compost but i was wanting to know if anyone has used it in pots to start there vegetables growing? or would i have to mix it with fishblood or bonemeal.

It’s unnecessary. Compost is full of nutrition. lots of it. Medium for starting seeds can be sterile and devoid of nutrition, since the seeds have a build-in pack of energy to get it growing. You won’t need fertilizer at all until the plant has a set or two of true leaves (as opposed to those first seed leaves).

As for growing plants, it’s been shown that a plant planted in pure compost will actually not do as well as the same plant grown in a soil/compost mix. more is not necessarily better.
