Is there a recipe for horse treats that wrap around the bit like ‘Lickety Bits’?
I wanted to get a recipe for something like ‘Lickety Bits’ where your wrap the treat strip around your horse’s bit. I figured it would be cool to make my own rather than buying them. ‘Lickety Bit’ treats are sort of like Fruit Roll-up for horses. If you have any ideas or recipes, please post them! Thanks!
I think I’ve seen them somewhere but can’t remember where…but have you tried boiling peppermints into peppermint water and pouring it into a mini-spray bottle? This works for my horses, also you can add a little molasses to it and let it cool, just spray the bit with it and you can clean it with water when done, I carry it in a small maybe four inch bottle that fits in my pocket, you can get them in the little carry on kits you get for travel at those dollar stores.
