What cough syrup do you suggest?
At first my throat would sting whenever I swallowed. Then it got better and I had a runny nose all week. Now I still have a runny nose but now it stings in my chest when I cough. I have to clear my throat and do this horse “naying” thing to breathe. I don’t want to go to the doctor right away because all they’ll tell me is to take cough syrup, drink plenty of water, and get plenty of rest and bill me $400 (I have insurance, but it’s screwy.)
I haven’t had any luck with Nyquil in the past but I’m willing to try it again. The same with Dayquil, no luck, but I’ll try it again.
“Tussin” worked great for me in the past.
Mussinex(sp?) sounds awesome, but I had no luck with that either.
Any suggestions????? Please help, I’m so miserable right now that I’m willing to go to the drugstore and stock up on cold medicine, tissues, and cough drops.
I like Delsym the best for the cough. Some nights, it’s the only drug that has kept me from coughing all night. For the runny nose get Sudafed (but not the PE kind. Get the one they keep behind the counter, it works better. They keep it behind the counter because people can make meth from it). I bet you could even combine them. Ask the pharmasist when you get the Sudafed.
