Looking for a new western girth for my quarter horse, any tips?
So, I have a troublesome Quarter Horse pony who needs a strong girth in size 36. I haven’t bought new tack in so long, but I need to get a good price on it. If it would be possible, I would LOVE it to have some pink bling!
“Been there – Done that” meaning I have checked them all out and have spent way too much money figuring out what is best. I have Quarterhorses, Arabs, Clydes and Thoroughbreds. So with this kind of diversity I can honestly say I have discovered the very best cinch one can use is a 100% mohair cinch. Whether a 17 or 26 strand is not so important in the beginning. The most important thing to consider is the health and comfort of your horse. Be sure to go with natural hair and NOT synthetic.
By it once and it will last for years. Buy cheap and you get what you pay for. This web site will get you started. And don’t listen to people who say something isn’t it important.
